Terms of Service
Idaho Bride Media LLC
This Terms of Service aka Contributor Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the individual or entity submitting content (“Contributor”) and Idaho Bride Media LLC, an Idaho limited liability company (“Publisher”). By submitting content, Contributor agrees to the terms and conditions below.
1. Applicability
This Agreement applies to all content submissions for editorial consideration, including but not limited to:
- Idaho Bride Magazine (print and digital)
- The Vendor Confessional (podcast)
- Social media content, website features, blog posts, and promotional reels
This Agreement does not confer sponsorship benefits, which are governed by a separate Sponsorship Agreement.
2. Content Submission License
By submitting content (photos, writing, video, or creative work), Contributor grants Publisher a non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to:
- Use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, display, distribute, and archive the content
- Use the content across all Publisher platforms, now and in the future, including print, digital, reels, social media, advertising, podcast audio/video, and promotional materials
- Edit, crop, overlay text, remix into derivative works, or otherwise modify the content at Publisher’s sole discretion
This license cannot be revoked, even if the Contributor later grants the content elsewhere.
3. Ownership and Credit
Contributor retains full ownership of the submitted content. However:
- Publisher is not obligated to credit all contributors (e.g., hair/makeup, venue, florals) unless they are properly submitted per the Publisher’s vendor submission form.
- Publisher will credit the primary creative (e.g., photographer or lead planner) when feasible and in accordance with its editorial standards.
- Contributor agrees that Publisher may tag or mention their professional account on social media at its discretion.
4. Originality and Permissions
Contributor represents and warrants that:
- The submitted content is original or appropriately licensed
- All contributors (photographers, stylists, planners, etc.) have granted permission to be included
- Any third-party materials (music, fonts, props, etc.) are properly licensed
- All identifiable individuals in the content have signed Model Releases
- If minors appear, parental/guardian consent was obtained in writing
Upon submission, Contributor agrees to provide all applicable documentation.
5. Editorial Control
All submissions are subject to Publisher’s sole editorial discretion, including the right to:
- Accept or reject content without explanation
- Edit written content for length, clarity, grammar, and house style
- Select images, layout, and publish date without Contributor approval
- Publish across multiple platforms (e.g., blog, podcast, print, social reels)
- Submission does not guarantee publication.
6. No Compensation
Content is submitted voluntarily and without expectation of payment. Publisher does not provide financial compensation, free advertising, or guaranteed features in exchange for editorial submissions unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Indemnification
Contributor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Idaho Bride Media LLC, its staff, partners, affiliates, and assigns from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from:
- Infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
- Use of unlicensed or unauthorized content
- Misrepresentation of permissions or releases
- Defamation, invasion of privacy, or any legal issues stemming from the content
This clause survives termination of the Agreement.
8. Exclusivity
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Contributor may also publish the submitted content elsewhere. However:
- Publisher is not obligated to remove content once published
- Duplicate publication of styled shoots or real weddings must be disclosed in advance
- Publisher may decline to publish content already published in competing outlets
9. Termination
Either party may withdraw from this Agreement in writing. However:
- Publisher may retain published materials in perpetuity across its archives and promotional channels
- Contributor may not demand removal of content already published, promoted, or embedded
10. Governing Law and Venue
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ada County, Idaho.
11. Entire Agreement
This Agreement represents the full understanding between Contributor and Publisher and supersedes all prior verbal or written discussions. It may be updated periodically at Publisher’s discretion.

13. Print Subscription Terms
Subscribers to Idaho Bride Magazine (print edition) agree to the following:
- Subscription fees are billed in advance for the full subscription term and are non-refundable
- Subscriber information is used solely for delivery and communication purposes and is not sold to third parties
- Publisher reserves the right to adjust subscription pricing or delivery terms with notice to subscribers
- Lost or damaged issues may be replaced at Publisher’s discretion, subject to verification of subscription status
- Subscription does not guarantee the inclusion of Contributor content or access to exclusive editorial features
